We sent the guys out with the kids Trick-or-Treating, while we chatted and drank tea! It was great! The kids loved Trick-or-Treating.
Arriving home from the hospital.
I didn't get to be there for the carving, apparently Ethan was only into it for a very short time.

Enjoying some of his treats, the Lion suit is off!
Halloween was a success at our house. Last night Ethan invited Nolan and Caleb over to Trick-or-Treat with him. We sent all the guys out (including Grandad) while us mom's stayed at home with the new babies. The guys really didn't take that long but they filled the kids buckets to a sufficient level for our liking! Ethan had only a few pieces of candy and he was a little crazy, so we gave his teeth an extra good brush and sent him off to bed.
Our first night at home with Wyatt was ok, he did wake up a few times and neither Kelly or I got too much sleep, we are hoping for a little bit of a better night tonight. It was Kelly's birthday today, We got him an Ipod Nano, he wasn't expecting it (and of course now has to pay for it) but he would never have bought it for himself and his mp3 player is broken so I think he was happy with that.
The Home Nurse came this morning, checked out Wyatt, said he was looking great, then she took my staples out. My gosh, PAINFUL. Last time my staples were taken out I hardly even noticed, so I wasn't really worried about it, but I felt it, infact I would argue that it was the most painful part of the entire process. Anyways I lived, still here so that was that.
We literally did nothing today, Ethan got out for a good run, I had a small nap, ate a few of Ethan's chocolates, had a yummy dinner and everyone is quite relaxed and tierd. So I might catch up on some of the shows I missed while I was in the hospital.
YAY!! Remember to email when you've watched "our" shows :)
ReplyDeleteThe pics of the Halloween boys are so cute! I'm glad to hear you are taking it easy. It must be such a gift to have your Mom and Dad there! (Say hi to everyone for me!!)
