Beautiful BC

The beautiful roses Kelly brought me last night. They are now sitting on my counter for Fabian to enjoy :)
Granny made a beautiful stocking for Ethan when he was born and has now been hard at work and has made another beautiful stocking for Wyatt.

A close up.

Granny has so many fun toys for Ethan. Very Spoiled.

Good Old Chloe Dog. 13 Years old.

All the boys getting ready to watch the Canucks game (Kelly is very excited that we can watch one... they don't play too many Canucks games in Edmonton). Ethan's face is so red because he fell asleep at the highchair so we put him to bed, I guess sometime between sleeping in the highchair and being in the crib he decided he wasn't ready for bed, he cried for awhile, and is now back up and wide away)

Big Yawn... Clearly not too impressed with the hockey game.

Well we made it. Our travels weren't too too bad. For some reason I was somewhat stressed out for most of it though. We got there and checked in. We ended up bringing our stroller through customs. Just easier I guess. We went through security. It was very cute, Ethan had to walk through the little checker thing by himself. He was so unsure and kind of went back and forth a few times. He had lots of people laughing and giggling at him. He finally went through, I wish I had my camera (or a video camera).

We had lunch at the Wok Box. I swear that place has changed their recipes because it is no longer good and it used to be delicious. Anyways Ethan was having no part in eating so we got him some timbits and of course he gobbled them down. For some reason I was stressed at lunch. Ethan was making a mess and Wyatt was screaming... anyways luckily it was time to board the plane.

We were in the very back row. I had an entire row to myself, Kelly had Ethan and a seat in between him and another, we had the isle in between us. There were probably 15 guys just getting off work from a diamond mine in the NWT. They were SO drunk they could hardly speak, yet they continued to order drinks on the plane. They were swearing like crazy and making crude jokes to one another. Oddly enough I didn't find them that annoying, they were all very nice (although very gruff and drunk). But they told me I had beautiful kids, so how could I dislike them. But seriously though, they work two weeks in and two weeks out. The stewardess asked them if they had rides home and they all said their wives were picking them up. If that was me, I would be pretty angry if my husband came home as drunk as some of them. Seriously some of them were slurring their words SO much that I could hardly understand them.

As we were getting off the plane Ethan fell in between the seats and bonked his head very hard. He screamed and we just picked him up and kept moving. While we were waiting for our baggage we realized that there was a huge bleeding hole on his skull. I wanted to go to the walk-in clinic but Mom and Kelly assured me that he would be ok.

Anyways my mom picked us up in her beautiful new pathfinder (just a little jealous). Anyways Mom has one carseat for Ethan and we brought Wyatt's. It took us about an hour to install my mom's. Just different than ours and so hard to tighten. Anyways we finally finished then headed for home. It is so mild here, no freezing cold wind... and it is not raining!!!

We got home and had some tea. The fire was going, it is just so relaxing here. There are extra people here to watch the kids and it is just so cozy. Mom has all the Christmas decorations up and Ethan just loves to spend time with Granny and Grandad. He can say both now! He has come down with a bad cold though, but it just seems like that time of year. Anyways all in all, I am very happy to be here. I was questioning whether or not I would ever fly again for awhile there in the airport.
