No Pictures!
Ethan was so tierd last night, he fell asleep during dinner. We tried to put him to bed but as soon as his head hit the pillow he was up and having a second wind.
Ethan and Jorja at the beach. Throwing Rocks.
The best photo we could get of the boys. Not too bad!
Lets see, where to start. We have been so busy, but it has been great. We have to jam as much as we can into our short time here.On Friday we had a lazy morning, around 11 Kelly and I headed out for another run. We ran for about an hour, although it felt like an eternity.... but I made it. Even managed a sprint (sort of) at the end. We all got dressed, fed and headed to Campbell River to visit with Kelly's family. We headed straight to my favorite bubble tea place. Delicious...they have changed the recipe a little though. Still hit the spot. Kelly bought a couple shirts from a local store (HST sucks) then we did a drive tour of Campbell River. Some places are looking great and some places are getting more ghetto by the day. We headed over to Kelly's Dad's for dinner. Ethan had the time of his life, running around like a crazy man, playing and laughing. It was quite cute! We had Christmas early and both boys were very spoiled. On our way home (around 9) we stopped in at Kelly's mom place for a visit and to introduce Wyatt. Both her kids were still awake so we got to see them as well. After a long day in CR we didn't get home until around 11 and Ethan didn't get a nap.
Saturday we headed over to Powell River for the day. We caught the ten boat so we actaully had to set the alarm for 8. After a late night, we had to wake Ethan up. We got on the ferry and headed over. THere was a young hockey team on the ferry... very noisy (I sound so old saying that). There was a pod of dolphins on the one side, Ethan wasn't too interested, instead he just paced around and around the boat. We finally arrived and heade over to Brian's. Jorja and Ethan took a couple minutes to warm up to each other but they played pretty well together. WE went down to a beautiful park on the water, it was a beautiful suny day out. All of the mountains in the background were gorgeous. Autumn brought Lochlan and Gwenny down for a visit. It was freezing cold so we decided a hot chocoalte was in order. We went to this coffe shop that had a little kids corner (where you could lock them in) it was awesome (although the gate didn't really do its job). We headed back to Brian and Andrea's for dinner then it was time to head to the ferry. I'm pretty sure Wyatt slept through all of Powell River. I only fed him twice all day. We didn't get home until 11 again, and I knew it was going to be a rough night after Wyatt slept all day. Sure enough, up every two hours.
This morning I stepped out of bed, tried to stand up... SO VERY SORE... those two runs completely killed my legs. But it feels really good to be sore. Haven't had this feeling in awhile. It is just tough to squat or bend down! We had a welcoming brunch this morning for Wyatt. Again jhe was very spoiled and he got to see all of his "Aunts and Great Aunts and Uncles". Great Grandma and Great Grandad also came for a visit! Ethan FINALLY got to have a nap this afternoon. We went for a big walk and just had a yummy dinner! We head home tomorrow afternoon, I'm hoping we can get a run in before we leave and head back to the snow and cold! (I am excited to get home though).
Tonight it is the Amazing Race. Hoping I can kick Kelly, my Dad and Grandad out of the TV room from the hockey game :)
